Business Development Manager (Upwork/Fiverr Specialist)

The Business Development Manager will identify international projects on platforms like Upwork and Fiverr, submit proposals, and convert leads into successful deals. This role focuses on client acquisition, relationship building, and coordinating with internal teams for smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Freelance Platform Management
• Manage company profiles on Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer, and similar platforms.
• Identify and analyze relevant job postings related to Web Development, Mobile App Development, SEO, and SMM.
• Prepare and submit customized proposals and bids to potential clients.

Lead Generation & Client Acquisition:

• Actively hunt and secure new international projects.
• Communicate with clients to understand project requirements and business needs.
• Convert leads into successful deals and long-term partnerships.

Proposal & Communication Management”

• Write compelling and professional project proposals.
• Conduct client meetings, chats, and calls to discuss project scope.
• Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the sales cycle.

Project Coordination:

• Coordinate with development, design, and digital marketing teams to ensure proper understanding of project requirements.
• Ensure smooth project handover to the technical team after deal closure.

Account Growth & Strategy:

• Optimize freelancing platform profiles to increase visibility and project acquisition.
• Maintain a strong success ratio and client satisfaction on freelancing platforms.
• Identify new opportunities in international markets.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in business development or bidding on freelancing platforms.
• Strong hands-on experience with Upwork and Fiverr project bidding.
• Understanding of Web Development, Mobile App Development, SEO, and Social Media Marketing services.
• Excellent proposal writing and communication skills.
• Ability to generate leads and close deals independently.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
